Root canal treatments are commonly performed procedures that can save seriously damaged or infected teeth. If you’ve been experiencing oral pain, you may have some kind of an infection or inflammation located in the pulp. If you fail to have this issue treated, you may wind up with a dental abscess, which is an incredibly painful infection that can be difficult to fix. Root canal therapy is a routine surgery that saves millions of teeth per year.
If your case happens to be more complex, we may refer you to a specialist. Complex cases involve teeth with several canals in them. Most of the time, these complex cases involve the molars. We will make the determination as to whether or not you need a specialist at your appointment.
